Stoicon

STOICON is the world’s largest annual event dedicated to Stoic philosophy and its modern applications. Organised by the international Stoic community, it brings together philosophers, psychologists, scholars, and practitioners from around the globe to explore how Stoicism can guide us toward wiser, calmer, and more purposeful lives.

Each year, STOICON features keynote talks, panel discussions, and practical workshops that connect ancient wisdom with contemporary challenges—from resilience and emotional regulation to ethics and leadership. The event typically coincides with Stoic Week, a global initiative inviting people to live like a Stoic for seven days through guided reflections and exercises.

Members of the New Zealand Stoic Society are encouraged to participate in STOICON, whether by attending the main international conference (held online or in person) or joining local Stoicon-X events hosted by regional Stoic groups worldwide.
